An Ode to Heart-Strung Friends

An ode to friends who look out for you
An ode to friends who give up their own wants, if you long for the same as them more
Friends who move the world for you, who stop all time and heal all things
Friends who see the storm clouds roaring in and the downfall of life before its visible
The life that hovers around you and drowns you is the life that in one nod, one hug, one common word sends all worries and troubles away
The friend who lights up the world and adds that sparkle to your eyes and the curve to your smile
When all else casts you down and pulls you down into the ever-spiraling black abyss
The one friend whose there through all, who will aid you in your
journey of life
Whose the ever remaining piece of gum cemented to your shoe
The friend who won't leave no matter how fierce the waves are that are crashing against them, attempting to push them down to release their grip on you
The one with their feet permanently implanted in your heart and soul
The matching footprints, blueprints to the friendship of heartstrings.

JABBERWOCKY
Lewis Carroll

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:

All mimsy were the borogoves,

And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!

The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun

The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:

Long time the manxome foe he sought --

So rested he by the Tumtum tree,

And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,

The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,

Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,

And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through

The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!

He left it dead, and with its head

He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?

Come to my arms, my beamish boy!

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'

He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;

All mimsy were the borogoves,

And the mome raths outgrabe.

Poems of Friendship

The Face

Your beautiful brown eyes
Fill my heart with sighs
Your soft, silky, brown hair
Causes my eyes to stare
I see your smiling face
And my heart skips a pace

When I lay me down to sleep
You are the last thing I think of
All my dreams of you are deep
In my mind I see you smiling at me above
I wish in my mind I could keep
All those dreams for you of my love

I know not if it is meant to be
But I am constantly thinking of thee
I cannot concentrate on anything but your smiling face
So much is it in my mind that it causes me to pace

When she smiles at me
My heart stands still
I drop all the frills
Our hands intertwine
All the time the sun does shine
My heart is joyous
My mind is peaceful
I think of nothing
Except of how beautiful her smiling face really is
Me

I keep on trying to block out that memory...
i keep on tring to block out the pain...
i keep on wishing to be held by you again...
i keep on trying to block you out of my memory...
i dont want to hurt anymore...
i dont want to wonder why...
i wish i could forget you...
i wish i didnt miss you so...
i wish the emptiness inside me would go...
i need you...
