Hay cousin, this is Oregon it is neat that you are in print, I am glad you liked the picnic basket. Do you have an e-mail I can send christmas letters to. I have not had the opportunity to see what you wrote, I still am at the walking stage on MacBook. You can still have windows on mac with Fusion. Did that for my mother in law. Elaine

Wow that article is nearly unreadable on firefox...

As someone who's been using Pidgin (GAIM before Pidgin) since around 2001, I think your project is better than ever... People that complain about it must have nothing better to do...

It's so ubiquitous to me (and the 4 different chat networks I'm connected to) that it actually surprised me when I got a new windows laptop for work and it wasn't installed yet LOL... I sometimes forget that there are some operating systems that don't have it in their package set.

Thank you and your friends for your contributions, some of us appreciate them. You and your peeps are doing a hella great job!

If you want your client to succeed, you will. If you don't, and are just working personal usage, you won't - which is fine.

It's just sad that there is apparently nobody who wants to do the first part and it's really making the state of Linux IM clients miserable (since Pidgin is the best one in many areas).

Why should "coding types" work on it? Why should I spend my free time working on something I have no use for? What motivation is there? These are honest questions.

I don't believe that the stance on somebody wanting a feature, so they have to make it, is exactly right in this video/audio support. I doubt a lot of people who are requesting this (and it's being requested everywhere now. I'm pretty sure it's the most wanted thing in Pidgin among normal users) know how to even code. And at the same time I doubt a lot of coding types really feel free need for video/audio.
